Jason Camp and the Posers

Over the past year, Haida Gwaii has seen the rise of a never before seen punk scene, headed by the duo of James McGuire and Graham Richard, better known as Jason Camp and the Posers.

They were set to headline a show along side fellow ska/punk group Dub Jackson Band at the Queen Charlotte Legion, but at the last minute the venue fell through and the two bands had to find an alternate location. Queue JP’s shop, a death trap for most, but a workshop and machine yard for the select few who call the West Charlotte Wastelands their home and place of work.

JP was gracious enough to allow the bands to move the show to his shop, and what resulted was one of the most authentic displays of punk rock and amazing music experience that anyone on Haida Gwaii had ever seen.
